About Ron...

Donna and Ron were friends who were widowed and then married in 2016. Ron has finished a 50-year career as an attorney in private practice, teaching college classes (many online), city attorney in Arizona towns, and city judge. Donna is a poet, and would like cards related to birds, nature, and hearts. Her favorite bird is the Raven. Prior to her retirement, Donna spent 20 years with Gore Technologies and finished up another 18 years with the City of Sedona as the public works administrative supervisor. We like film festivals, putting together LEGO sets, and short trips to VRBO cabins in the mountains. Some long getaways were to drive North Coast 500 in Scotland, and European Disney cruises. We share two children, 6 grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters and a great-grandson!

We think Postcrossing is a wonderful way to meet folks from all over the world, and see glimpses of towns, parks, and travels that we would never otherwise would have discovered. Tell us about your favorite things - places, family, hobbies, poems, books, movies - and we will be part of your Internet family!

When I see that a receiver has lots of cards, I like to send my own 5x7 photo collage cards of Grand Canyon hikes, Sedona, Arizona in general, the Goldfield Old West town, Disney cruises, some Arizona mountain hikes, and scenes of the southwest. I know those will be unique! Let us know if you want to swap one!

I usually put a sticker or two on the cards I send that are my photos of Arizona, Grand Canyon trails, Donna and I in western garb, poems, food, cacti, railroad trips, waterfalls, and other scenes that match the requests of the receiver. That way, they get two images in one - the main card, and a photo sticker of Arizona. I'm just now learning to also add washi tapes.

My "Favorites" are cards I already received, and most of them were in the first few years. Here are some more current ideas for sending postcards, but you can always just use a card that you feel reflects your own interests, unique scenery or places, and your personality!
