Hi everyone!

My name is Arina & I’m 18. Nice to meet you!

When I first heard about postcrossing, I immediately fell in love with the idea! I see this as an opportunity to make our world a better and happier place by spreading nice words and positivity all over the globe! If being able to put a smile on a person’s face by simply writing a nice letter isn’t magic, then what is?

I'm not sure, really, if words can describe how grateful I am for my life, the people I meet and surround myself with, the endless opportunities that get «thrown» my way every day and for everything life yet has in stock for me. They say the key to having it all is knowing you already do, and I’m only starting to really understand the wisdom behind the words.

So, as I said, I'm a 18-year-old-teenage-girl. I am currently studying economics at uni. My biggest dream is to visit NYC, which, I know, will be reeeal soon.

I love my family and am so grateful for having them in my life. I feel so safe, supported and loved every single day. My best friend is my sister. She is eight years older but we never argue and are really close. I adore animals and have a cat.

Two things I probably like the most (and I like loooots of things) are travelling and reading. Both allow you to learn new about our world (or different ones) and yourself. So when I get the opportunity to read an exciting book on the plane heading somewhere on vacation... I'm the happiest person alive.

Anyway, if you read this, most likely you are supposed to send me a postcard :) Please, feel free to send me anything you want. Just a lovely card with nice words on it will immediately make me happy! I'm always interested in learning new about the world so maybe you would want to tell me something curious about your country/hometown, culture, traditions. I’ll also be happy to read about YOU, your dreams/goals/achievements/outlook on life if you feel like sharing. ♡ Most of all I love postcards like this:

• w/ colorful and pictured maps of countries and continents

By the way, collecting postcards with the views of different cities has been my hobby since I was 9 or so. I now bring a card from every country I visit, and my friends and relatives send me some as well when they go somewhere. (I am, actually, considered the ‘founder’ of this tradition in my family.) And now the postcards you send me will become parts of my collection! Thank you so much!
