I'm Richard.

I travel back and forth between Saudi and Romania and can send postcards from both countries.
I understand English, French, ein bisschen Deutsch, Romanian и немного русский. I can write in either of these and am interested in direct swaps.

As far as postcards go, I appreciate:
* I like the "Greetings from" series ( https://www.postallove.com/Postcards/Greetings-from-series ) and I am looking forward to a full collection with originating stamps
* anything technical/blueprint of something made in your country (for instance: trabant schematics from east berlin)
* wide (panoramic) city views, I like more the ones that mix urban and nature than either (for instance: cinque terre shots should include both city and sea), but any are good
* black and white views from historical events in your city (please, major ones only, pre 2000)
* I like the ones by Inge Löök (but the ones with the dwarves or settings, not the ones with old ladies)
* Abstract patterns, geometrical shapes, abstract artwork with a repetitive/mechanical quality to it
* Handmade stuff is ok-ish

Please, don't send me anything too Christmas-y, although winter pictures are welcome. I also dislike anything that focuses exclusively on a generic character (caricatures, portraits) - unless that's you - those are welcome.

I like calligraphy and appreciate writing in general. I would love any kind of writing/calligraphy/doodling on the back side. Any tiny local item that can be glued/taped is also appreciated.
