About Albert...

Hello, I'm a primary school teacher (children with special needs) and interested in many kind of cards, but when there's a rainbow on the card or the stamp I would be very, very glad (even only the rainbowcolours will do). They are my favorites. When I started postcrossing I received several, but.... nowadays they seem to be rare:-(

Beside rainbows I like cards about:

Philately, fishing(angling), poetry, postboxes, postoffices, all kind of ancient cards (b/w & coloured ones), art, famous (old) brands, schoolclasses, schools.

The cards in my Favorites-map are cards I have received allready.

I'm a great fan of the singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen. On 7 novenber 2106 he left us ....and joined the choir of angels to support them with his magnificient voice. Anything about him is welcome. I have once been to a concert in Rotterdam and twice in Gent (open air...St Pietersplein:-)) I know the items are rare:-)

One of my favorite Cohen-songlines is:
'There is a crack, a crack, in everything: that's how the light gets in'

I also collect stamps: Bosnia_Herzegowina, Netherlands, Germany are favorite, but all stamps and cards about stamps are welcome and also anything about collecting stamps or related to stamps.

And if you don't have one of the above themes .... just make your own choise:-) Surprise me....

Would you be so kind to write the date on the card? Thanks. I prefer cards without envelopes. The little damages and scratches make the cards more real, I think:-).

If you don't know what to write, just tell me about your worries, your sorrows, what lifts you up again or what your favorite quote is.

The website in my profile leads to the school where I'm working.

USA-postcrossers: Please sent a postcard of your State. For instance: Hawaii-the Rainbow state a.s.o. the Golden state, the Pelican state etc

Thanks for reading my profile.
Happy postcrossing to all of you.

Sincerely,
Albert

Expired cards: many...but that's all in the game:-)
