Hello, I am a girl(17) and orginally from Berlin. I finished school and spent my semesters in Lübeck, where I study medicine. I love the nature and enjoy many hours out there. If its raining I take a book and read with a cup of tee in my hands, while the rain crakle on my window.
I really love to wear funny and coloured socks, therefore I are known as the one wearing socks with singing toasts on them.
I learned some English and Spanish and of course speak German fluent. I adore my teacher who mades me love both languages, while she woke a desire for Latin Amerika in my heart an let me find my intrest in English. I owe my mum my love for plants and if there are any special native flowers growing up in your region, it would made my day if you would send me a pressed flower in an envelope. In general I love the feeling of openig an envelope and discover what suprises are in. If you like, you can put your card and one little thing in an envelope, maby tee, sand, little figures, a map of your region, flowers, small coins or banknotes, braclets, socks, booklets or anything outher, you want to send.
It would be great if you would send me postcards I can identify with your region or culture, that means place related things, because I take part in postcrossing to satisfy my wanderlust and get to know wonderful persons, NOT for collecting cards of dogs, cats or some normal roses. I would enjoy any card which shows your region, maby sights, natural enviroment, cultural celebrations, rituals...
If you use unusual or bright stapms I would be really happy, because stamps make postcards complete.
As I said already I yearn for Latin America and if you are a native spanish speaker, please write in spanish (so that I can improve my spanish). I was so happy as I recived a card from spanish speaking country and dissapointed to had to read the card in English.
"But I also dream of travelling to northern Europe since my childhod and see aurora borealis, the snow and feel the coldness, because my heart belongs to the north. Once I was travelling to the US, the flight was over Greenland and I had tears in my eyes due to the brightness of all this snow and the blue, blue ice." This is what I wrote 2 years ago... now I had spent a month in Norway and Sweden. I was hiking, camping and enjoying life. It is so beautiful!
I have a fondness for history and old things, which fascinates me always. So if you can send me cards that show events in history or tell me something about your cultural background, some not so known fairy tales, myth or legends you will made my day. Commonly I like it if there is more on the card than one sentence or just"happy postcrossing".
It is a great feeling to see effort and love in the cards, so please put them in, like I or others do too.
