Hello!

I am a prospective PhD student, and a lover of the macabre. Supporter of feminism, atheism, animal rights, and body positivity. Proud parent of a Chihuahua since 2007.

My main interests resonate around my research areas: cinema, history (especially Eastern European and Korean), cultural studies, and gender studies.

When I am not doing something Academia-related, I'm looking for new recipes to cook, watching films or TV series to archive in the reference section of my brain, or painting "adult" coloring books.

I also enjoy/like/love: animals (jellyfishes, octopuses, cheetahs; dogs, bats, ravens; ostriches, llamas, alpacas; wolves, horses), photography, castles; gloomy and eerie landscapes, H. P. Lovecraft, Universal Monsters; death-themed stuff (Danse Macabre allegory, post mortem photography, Día de los Muertos, and the like), tea, maps; vintage/antique things, makeup, and traditional Russian stuff.

Secret interests: kawaii/cute things, Pokémon, and San-X's Sentimental Circus/Sabo Kappa Cactus, Jem and the Holograms (TV show and comic).

If you don't know what to write, you can share a recipe from your country (I love to try new ones), recommend me a movie, a TV show or a book, or teach me a word in your native language (I'm only bilingual but always wanted to learn German and Russian).
