About Anna...

Greetings!

I live in Zelenograd. It is an administrative district of Moscow, Russia, standing 40 kms apart from the metropolitan city on the highway to St. Petersburg. It was built in the forests and the name of the place can be translated as "Greentown".

I love to travel, get to know new people and receive postcards/letters :)

I'm happily married and have two adult sons, two grandsons and a granddaughter - all by the same son :)

Our family also adopted two Dachshund boys who bring us a lot of joy and sometimes trouble.

I will be happy with every nice card I receive. However of special interest will be the cards with traditional costumes or customs, national holidays, folk art, maps - or anything else, really :) If however you have difficulties in choosing a card for me then please have a look at my favourites to get an idea of what I'd love to get. The list of favourites has only the cards I haven't received yet. As soon as I get any card from the list I unfavourite it.

If you're from Finland, I'd love to receive an illustration to Kalevala (just in case you have one and think what to send).

I will really appreciate if you check my received cards before selecting the one to send in order to avoid doubles. I'd like to have as much different cards as possible :)

Thank you for having your card scanned and uploaded before you send it. The reason of asking is that our mailpeople like to put incoming postmarks on the front part of the received card and they don't care about the fact that the picture doesn't look as it should.

Please don't be upset if you see I've deleted your card image that you've already uploaded. Now that I have my own scanner I sometimes do this to upload a better quality card scan. I like to keep my wall neat :)

It would also be great to receive a few words in your native language.

Thank you and Happy Postcrossing!

P.S. I will be happy with cards signed and stamped. No envelopes, please :)

Mya from St. Paul, Minnesota. I have received your card on May 06, 2014. I'm sorry I can't register it since it wandered somewhere for more than a year. Thanks anyway. If you some day read this please e-mail me your address and I will send a thank-you card in return.
