My name's Annie and I'm a college student from Connecticut. I've recently switched majors from psychology to communication disorders. I am a sophomore, now on track to become a Speech Language Pathologist. As an SLP, I will be able to work with children in schools, or with adults in hospitals. I would love to work with stroke patients learning how to talk again. Have you ever known anyone with a communication disorder? (like stuttering or aphasia, for example) What was it like?
I babysit two wonderful children named Mia (11) and Colin (5). Mia loves school and Colin loves legos. What is your favorite game to play with children? Or, what was your favorite game to play as a child? I am very curious because I am always looking for ideas for activities to do with them. (We like to do postcrossing together sometimes!)
I commute to Southern Connecticut State University and live at home with my parents and my younger brother, Austin. He goes to Loyola University in Maryland and is studying to be a dentist. I have a boyfriend named Ben, he and I have been together for almost two years! ❤️ Ben is working on his CompTIA A+ certification so he can get a job working with computers. He and I like going on hikes together, walking his dog Maggie (an adorable Beagle/German Shepard mix), playing video games (Dark Souls), watching our favorite shows (catfish and OITNB), taking Maggie to the dog park, and cooking & enjoying delicious food together. What is your favorite food or recipe? We would love to make recipes from fellow postcrossers!
Postcrossing is truly a special website, and I love that it exists so that you and I can connect in a way we would otherwise never be able to! How amazing!
I genuinely appreciate all postcards!!
I especially love postcards featuring:
