Hi there!

My name is Anne, I'm 26 years old and live in a small village in Belgium called Hoeselt.
I'm studying Medicine at the university of Brussels, which I enjoy very much! I'm currently in the running to become a child- and adolescent psychiatrist, yay!

I'm happy with any card you send me, but if you'd like some inspiration or just want to know a little bit more about me: here's a bit more information!

* I love movies and TV shows! My favorite genre is science fiction, and fantasy also! I really enjoy Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, the X-files, The killing (the original show from Denmark is soooo great!), Friends, The big bang theory, ...
As a child, my favorite movie was 'the parent trap', the one with lindsay Lohan! And of course pokémon, I love pokémon ;)

* I also love to read, particularly with a big cup of tea on a rainy day

* Funny cards are always appreciated!

* I love little lights! (like christmas lights, decoration lights, cosy candles and lanterns)

* Photography: if you took a nice picture and want to show it to a total stranger: please make a card out of it or send it to me with a card, I'd love to see it! I really like photography and love to see other people's view on the world :) I also love old, vintage cameras!

* I'm a big fan of volunteer work. In my spare time, I volunteer mostly for the red cross but also some smaller projects. I'm also a member of the Belgian Medical Student Association, where we try to organise and participate in projects in developping countries and set up exchange programs. We also organise projects in Belgium (mostly Brussels), e.g. world AIDS-day, cardiovascular screening programs etc... I really enjoy it!

* Music is another thing I really enjoy: I love Hooverphonic, Heather Nova, Rolling Stones, Queen, The Beatles, No Angry Young Men, ...

* I love to draw, mostly portraits. So art-cards make me really happy :)

* If there's something you love about your country and you happen to find a card of it, you would make me very happy! I'd like to hear about your country!

* In my spare time, I love to saddle the horses and take a nice trip in the woods (did I tell you that I love nature and animals?)

* Other: i like quotes, vintage cards, dance (I really love ballet), science, birds, city's from all over the world, ...

When you write me a card, i'd really love it if you write something about yourself and/or your country. Or anything else you want to share with me, I'd love to hear it :) e.g. your favorite life-quote, or recommend me a book :) Your message is the most important thing on the card for me, so I'd love it if you'd write more than just your name! Also a small sentence or a few words in your own language will be very much appreciated!!

Feel free to write me in English, Dutch or French. I'm currently trying to improve my German, so if you're from Germany, please write in your beautiful language!
