Hello, I'm Anna, retired nurse.
Married since 1970, HB retired banker. He died on 23 - 04 - 2019.
He could hardly speak, read or write anymore, was diagnosed in 2016 with Lewy Bodies dementia with Parkinsonisme. A very worse disease. He didn't want to go down to the bottom and he choose for Euthanasie. Build a case in 3 year: he was very scared for loosing control.
So at the end he got permission from 4 doctors and a SCEN doctor (he looks if the patient is really able to want this). He makes the definitive conclusion.
Now everything is at the gouvernemental commission who keeps track of Euthanasie. And I'm sure they will declare that my hubby had the knowledge and the right to make the decision, that suffering had to be over.
I miss my hubby every day in everything, but as I love him, I respected his wish and let him go......
Have 5 children, and 5 grandchildren.
The grandkids are the lights in my life, often I take care of them.
Hobby's: reading, gardening, cooking. Music: classical music, new age (Reiki), easy listening, and dutch songs.

Been twice in Australia, rented a mobile home over there; love that part of the world, felt like home!
Another favorite place is Lanzarote, a Spanish island opposite the coast of West Africa. When my hubby got ill travelling was over. Sold our mobile home and bought a new little caravan.

Contact is more important then the kind of postcard. If you don't know what to send: love city views, especially with churches, synagoges, mosks, castles, skylines, beaches, rivers, also maps are very welcome.
