About Anna...

Hello!

My name is Anna, I am IT Consultant. I like to travel, to study foreign languages, history and geography and skiing! And I'm in love with cats :))

For me the best is to choose the right card for a person (I really enjoy this process!), to get something from my “nice-to-have” list too, of course :), and to read what is written on the card and intersting stamps.

I’m always happy to get:

- Maps (old maps or with the best places indicated), aerial views
- 3D cards
- Olympic Games, World Cup (FIFA) or other significant sport event cards
- Russian hockey players
- Alps (national parks, chalets, resorts, skiing, après-ski :))
- Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon, Bretagne, Normandie
- Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Gustave Caillebotte and Dutch Golden Age painting (I love winter scenes!)
- Paintings or Reprints with city views (especially Paris and Venice)
- Christmas cards (in Xmas time)
- Scandinavian trolls an gnomes (Rolf Lidberg, Jenny Nyström, Lennart Helje)
- cats, especially of Kliban, Kunzli/Mainzer, Makoto Muramatsu, Anna Hollerer
- Old advertisement cards
- Funny, humour cards, can be on a local language, I’ll try to translate it ;)
- Everything about local culture (food&drinks, cartoon, folk or literature characters, historic events, fests, traditions, Indigenous peoples)
- cards with many items/objects
- Inge Löök, Sven Nordqvist, Fiep Westendorp, Anton Pieck, Thomas Kinkade, Marie Cardouat, Sigutė Ach, Jeffrey Severn, Alena Dergileva, Virpi Pekkala

You can get more ideas from my favourites' wall.
It would be nice if you check my received postcards:

I'm ot a big fan of standard touristic city views.. Please, no photos with flowers, handmade/self-printed and advertisement/free cards.

It will be great if you write your favourite local proverb and it’s translation to English, if your language is not one of those in my profile.

Happy Postcrossing! :)
