I’m a mother, wife, educator, writer, crafter, and now a PhD Candidate at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). I'm the in the Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning (CISL pronounced "sizzle") program with an emphasis in childhood mathematics learning. I love learning and even more, I love learning about how we learn, and how we can learn better!! :)

I also love collecting old mail, including postcards and think the idea of sending and receiving mail to and from people all over the world is the coolest ever!

I live in the mountains of sunny southern California, where believe it or not, we actually get quite a bit of snow. My husband and I are married for the second time, and so together we have seven kids ranging in age from 18 years old to nearly 30 years old. Several of our kids are professional artists, others are still in college. One is just married and now expecting our first grandchild! Our youngest just officially became a Marine. We have two wonderful dogs and three awesome cats.

I would love to learn more about other post crossers!!

I would love to have most any type of postcard, and would love it if you would date it and write a little message on it about yourself and your country.

Quotes about writing, art, or creativity
I love to receive cards with quotes, either on the post card or written on the back by you.

I also love to receive messages where you can tell me a secret or something about yourself that no one knows. Or if not that, then I would love to receive messages with interesting facts about the place You live or something that most people would not know about your town or country. THANK YOU!! :)
