About Magdalena...

Hi! I'm a special and primary education teacher from Kraków. I've been living here for 10 years now, but I come from a little village in the Tatra Mountains. I spent my entire childhood wandering the forests - so now I escape the city whenever I can to spend a couple of days in the mountains, forests and meadows of this world :)

Some random facts about me:
I enjoy reading books, playing games, taking photos, trying out new recipes. I have a huge admiration for good photography, I adore the postcards that make me go "Gosh, I wish I took this photo!". I also love thought-provoking lyrics&quotes, clever and sarcastic people (in movies, literature and real life). I'm quite introverted and after 'being social' I usually need some rest. My thyroid doesn't really like me and the feeling is mutual. I don't have an animal right now, but I always wanted to have a cat or a snake.

I can't wait to see the postcard you'll pick for me! If you enjoy selecting card according to preferences, those are themes I like the most:

-maxicards or shaped cards
-landscape with a lone human figure
-traces of ancient or lost civilizations
-bird eye view
-space
-umbrellas, rain, lightnings, fog
-street markets, local customs
-mountains, volcanos, National Parks, meandering rivers
-ruins, castles
-grassy roofs, quiet lanes
-rice terraces, tea plantations
-parachute jumping, hot air balloons
-detail oriented (e.g. eyes, windows, doors, postboxes, books, clocks)
-old cars, little boats, bicycles
-heather, sunflowers, poppies, cornflowers, dandelions
-tea, coffee
-cats and wild animals
-related to disabilities or postcrossing
-Jimmy Liao, Leonid Afremov
-GF and other similar series

You can check my favourites if you have the time. Those are all postcards that I'd love to receive one day :)

Postcards from countries other than yours are fine if they're really really nice.

Some of you prefer to send the card in an envelope. I don't mind that as long as the card is written, the messages are equally important as the pictures to me. I'm happy with any information you decide to share with me! (Random examples: Do we have something in common? Why did you pick the card you're sending? Did something nice happen today? Or maybe you want to rant a bit? Or you had an interesting dream?).

I'm always happy to see some interesting stamps as well. Perhaps you have something I haven't seen before? That would be awesome!

I look forward to receiving your postcard soon and thank you in advance!
Have a wonderful day!
