I live in western New York state - in a city named Rochester - that is nearly 350 miles from New York city (even lots of Americans don't realize how big a state New York is!). I am an English professor at a local college. I have a eight-year-old son, Duncan, who is really excited to see postcards arrive from different parts of the world. He and I have done a little traveling together, but he's never been further outside the U.S. than Canada. He's also just started a weekly Spanish-language class - if you're a Spanish-speaker and willing to keep it simple, we'd love to try and translate together!

We would love to receive any kind of postcards! But I'm especially interested to see pictures/maps/images of your city or country or of something in your city that you love -art from a museum, your favorite sports teams or food, a tourist attraction that's your favorite, whatever - we think of Postcrossing as a kind of traveling!
