Hi, my name is Alexandria but my family and close friends call me by my nickname, Sandy. You may address me by either name. I am from the United States and I live in a litte town of Barrington, New Jersey which is located about a 15 minute drive from center city Philadelphia, PA and a one hour drive to Atlantic City, NJ (a summer resort of the New Jersey coast with lots of beaches) and a 2 hour drive to New York City. My heritage is half French and half Italian. I am divorced and I have three daughters, all of whom are married and have their own families. I have 5 grandchildren whom I adore (ages l8, 16, 13, 6, 5 years old) I am a very active and a happy retired women who keeps quite busy lunching with many friends, visiting with family, busy with hobbies, crafts, water aerobics exercise, dancing and travelling. Travelling is my love of life. I have travelled to the Caribbean on several occasions, Bahamas, Italy & Sicily several times, Paris, Spain, London, China, Australia and most recently, Ireland. My last cruise was a cruise to Venice, Italy stopping at ports in Rome, Florence, Greece, Turkey, France, Barcelona. I love cruises, although I have done a lot of air and land travel too. I have many hobbies and have a small home based business. I bake Biscotti (italian cookies) dipping some in chocolate and make chocolate covered pretzels for the holiday seasons (Thanksgiving and Christmas). I have handcrafted aromatherapy and organic skin care products that I sell and give away as gifts, as I do with my baking products. I love to cook and entertain my family and friends for dinner and lunch. My friends and family say that I am a gourmet cook. All I know is that I thoroughly enjoy cooking and trying different dishes. I am very into eating organically and my newest adventure is starting a small business online with my handcrafted organic skin care products. I am now in the process of working on a website. I love art, books, theatre, ballet, movies, opera, music, etc and I must include my newest hobby, "postcrossing" which I believe may become addictive. I belong to a book club with nine women. We meet once a month to discuss the book we all have read over a nice dinner at various restaurants and sometimes in each other's homes. As far as post card preferences, I will make it easy for you. Since I love travelling...........a card depicting something from your home country or culture would be much appreciated, but I would love any kind of post card you think I would appreciate telling me something about yourself and things that make you happy.
