Hi there!

I'm Alex ...
I love reading, travelling, taking pictures and reading a bit more ...
I also love crafting ... pretty much all the crafts there is in the entire cosmos.
I started out by studying Astronomy but when I was almost at the finishing line I decided I wanted to be a civil engineer. That's what I am, although I mostly teach at our local University.
As for the things that make me tick ... I love ancient history, particularly the history of construction, biotechnology, cosmology, paleontology and horror movies.I love a good tattoo, I've got a few of my own ... I love kids, I've got four ...

As for postcards, well surprise me. I'm not very into maps and still life although ... I do dig an ancient map or a Degas' painting ...

What I really love is if you could make this personal :) maybe tell me a bit about yourself, what you've learned today since you got out of bed or what your next project will look like. If you feel like go ahead and throw in a used subway ticket or a dry leaf/flower ... just let me have a glimpse of your daily life.
