Hello everybody,

First, a request to the postcrossers from Russia.
These days it is hard for me to send postcards to Russia and not talk about Putin's terrible war in Ukraine.
Dialogue with you, even through this portal is difficult and I am sure that it is not possible for you to send postcards to the West freely and without any disadvantages.
Therefore, I would like to ask you to write me only the words: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY", if you can not write freely, despise this war and want to stand up for peace, freedom, love and justice.
In this way you would show me the true face of Russia.
If you have a different opinion, please write me whatever you want.

My name is Thorsten. I´m 53 years old and I work as a civil servant in my hometown Essen. Essen is a big city in the Ruhr Valley. My favourite hobby is to travel around the world with my wife.
That´s also the reason why I like to get postcards from all over the world, espacially from people who come from countries we haven´t seen yet.
So pleeeeeaase send postcards with nice stamps of your country.

I´m happy to get birthday postcards for me in November or for my wife Alexandra in February. Her birthday is on the 29th of February, a very special day that she can celebrate unfortunately only every four years.
