About Renee...

My name is Renee, and I live near the beautiful Lake of Constance which is situated at the border between Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The region is famous for fruit (apples and pears mostly) and for the beautiful landscape and many cultural highlights. I live in a small village and love the rural life. I am a nursery teacher (working with the smallest, aged 1-3 :) ) and for me being a part of the lifes of those young kids and trying to give them a good foundation for their lifes is not a job, but a vocation.

I love music (Beatles, Bon Jovi etc), reading tons of books, talking to my friends who live all over the world, spending time with my family, traveling (Italy especially :) ), going to concerts, walking through nature, reading about history, and obviously, sending and receiving postcards! :D I can't wait to discover new countries and learn about different cultures and see places on postcards I'll probably never be able to travel to thanks to you guys on here! :) I love tourist type postcards the most, so I can see where you live and what your country looks like and the history of your country. But of course I love all other postcards too! :) If you want to make me extra happy send me postcards of musicians if you have them. Beatles, Stones, Bon Jovi...I love the old music best. :D Thanks so much!

I love photographing too, mostly landscape pictures. If you want to have a look at some of my photos you can on my instagram: reneegoetz

I love to write letters too (yes, real letters, written by hand :D told you I like old fashioned things ;) ) so I'm always looking for penpals. If you'd like to write me sent me a message and I'll give you my adress. :)

Dear US Postcrossers, I'd be awesome if you could write the state where you live on your postcard if it's not mentioned on there already, because I sort my US postcards by states (cause I have so many :) ) Thanks! :)

Dear Postcrossers from countries that use a different alphabet, it would be awesome if you put your adress in your native alphabet on your profile, I will then print it and stick it on your postcard. This way less postcards will get lost on the way to you. :)

Happy postcrossing to everyone out there! :)
