My name is Akane, I'm Japanese, living in USA with my husband, 6 year old (as of June 2023) son and a toy poodle, name Kiki :D

I love receiving mails!! It's just so exciting to find letters or postcards in piles of bills and junk mails...LOL So, any postcard you pick out for me is great! Only thing I don't like is folded-greeting cards... you know, that is NOT a postcard...

I want you to write something on the card. I enjoy reading your messages. Write anything! A little bit about yourself, how your day was, about your family, your life, what you like to do on your spare time, about the card or about stamps, anything more than "Greetings from... and Happy Postcrossing!" You can teach me a word or two in your language and English or Japanese translation would be fun too!

**PLEASE** write the date and maybe the weather/temperature of the day you are writing the card on it. :) It help me to sort my cards later, and it's fun to see how different or similar weather you have!

-any card you think my son would like ;) (He is into Titanic and other ocean liners now!)

I also love stamps!! So, use as many stamps as you can, please!! I always enjoy seeing beautiful stamps as much as I enjoy postcards!

A little bit more about me:
I enjoy crafting(such as card making, scrapbook,etc), sewing, crochet, drawing, painting, writing letters.
In the summer time, I enjoy boating and fishing on lakes, riding motorcycle, visiting state/national parks. I also have small garden and growing flowers and some vegetables.
However, since I had my son, he is keeping me busy and don't have much time to enjoy them. But I'm going to try to start enjoying some of my hobbies again!! Wish me luck!
