I am a mother to seven children with four remaining at home. The younger four are adopted from China. Three are teens and one is 10! I have six grandchildren as well. I live in an historic neighborhood in Birmingham, AL. I previously worked as a social worker but now stay home with my children. I homeschool so we will use the postcards to learn geography. We have a world map on the wall in our classroom and when a card arrives we immediately locate the country! It is so much fun for my daughters. We have four pets - 2 dogs and 2 cats. We are active in the Catholic church.

I welcome ANY postcards but would love cards which depict life in your part of the world, historical sites, or anything of interest. If you any postcards related to ballet in your country my girls would love those. At least one of my daughters wishes to be a professional ballet dancer. I would also love any postcards of Catholic Cathedrals, Churches, etc.

I am very interested in direct swaps especially with postcrossing members from The People's Republic of China. My daughters are from Guangdong Province, Guangxi Province, and Hunan Province. I would love postcards from those areas.
