I am 54 years old. I enjoy my job working in a high school library. I am married with four grown daughters and four young grandchildren. I live in the country with my husband and cats. I tend a flock of chickens, a greenhouse, and gardens of flowers and vegetables. My hobbies include needlework, beading, family history, herbalism, cooking, and writing. My oldest daughter is a postcrosser, and I became interested in this activity through her. I am always interested in people and places that are far away from my home in southern Colorado.

I love flowers, animals, chocolate, antiques, Western genre movies, historical fiction, singing, streams, and sunshine.

I also love to learn about places in which my husband's and my ancestors originated. These include England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Syria, Lebanon, Greece, Sicily, France, Belarus.
