I got interested in stamps while living in India for a couple years after college. Now I am back in my home country, the United States, and I thought Postcrossing sounded like a fun hobby and a way for me to learn more about people around the world. I prefer stamped cards.
I work for the federal government on projects related to ending homelessness in our country. I am curious to know about your experiences with housing policies in your area/country. Do you often engage with people experiencing homelessness? What do you think are the responsibilities of government or civil society & charities to help them? Have you seen changes in the problem over your lifetime?
If you would like suggestions, I would especially like to receive postcards with:
-historic buildings & architecture
-religious buildings from your country
-vintage photographs from your country
-camels (I collect camel art & objects)
-St. George & the dragon
-art & other things from museums (e.g. paintings, sculpture)
Above all, thank you for your kindness in writing and sending me a postcard. Each one makes me very happy ❤️
