About Judith...

Hello my name is Judith, I work as a administrative assistant at a big mental healthcare institute called 'ARQ IVP'. I live in Purmerend that is a small city (81.420 inhabitants) near Amsterdam which is the capital city of The Netherlands. I live together with my boyfriend, we are happily not married. We love to drive in our little cabriolet Mazda MX5. We do that in our own country but also in other country's in Europe (France, Germany, Austria, Italië). (We only use the cabriolet in the summertime and unfortunately the last two summers we barely drove in it because of the pandemic)

Hobby's:
- reading all kind of books on my e-reader
- watching cabaret/theatre/musicals
- watching movies in cinema/ bingewatch series on Netflix
- playing games(wordfeud,rummikub,cardgames,qwixx)
- photography and making photo albums
- going on a holiday/roadtrip with our little Mazda MX5 cabriolet
- going to a restaurant and eat a lovely meal and drink a delicious wine together with people I love
- my favourite place in The Netherlands is an island called Texel, I love to go there and walk through the forest and along the beach
- birding is a new hobby since the pandemic
- I have a soft spot for sneakers of all kind but especially AIR JORDAN

I don't mind what kind of postcard you send me, but if you are trying to pick out something specific;

* I love to see something from your country, for example; local cuisine, traditions, festivals, local people, local animals, famous buildings, famous curiosities, characteristic landscapes
* fairytales from your country, such as Andersen, Perrault, Grimm Brothers, Afanasyev, Lorenzini, Dodgson, C.S. Lewis etc. etc.
* I like cats a lot!
* black and white pictures are welcome to!
* cherry blossom and peony are my favourite flowers

I'm not particular about what you write on the card, but if you're not sure what to write, maybe you could answer one of these questions for me:

1. If I come to your city/country, what would I have to see?
2. If I come to your city/country, what would I have to eat?
3. What is your favourite book/writer?
4. What is your favourite song/band/artist?

Or write a line in your native language (with an English translation so I can understand)

I appreciate pretty stamps used on the postcards. And please write down the date and the degreas of that day. And if not to much asked please upload a scan of the card you send me. Thank you in advance!

Ps. I do my Postcrossing administration in the weekends only so I register and write ones a week.

Note: I did Postcrossing in 2011-2012 and after a while I stopped because of a bussy live I guess...... but now, with the Pandemic and all, I think it is nice to connect with you out their, whereveer you are, we are all in this together.....

Happy postcrossing!!
