About Urara...

*I have stopped direct swap for the time being because of my physical condition and already having many friends the world over. Even so if you are interested in me, please let me know and I would be happy to answer if I could or not.

Hello! My name is Urara, うらら(麗).I was born and raised in HIROSHIMA so I always wish peace the world over. I am single and live with my parents and a younger sister. Actually I have been suffering from manic- depression(Bipolar Disorder) and obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) and not working for 15 years. I also often get easily Meniere's disease and sometimes Sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) .So I always thank all of the Postcrossers for sending me cards that make me smile and give me hope and energy to live!

I like reading, watching especially Korean cable TV mystery, listening to mainly 70s and 80s pop and rock music and film sound track, walking with taking photos of flowers and ordinary scenery in my neighborhood and going shopping.(especially local markets.) In fact I have been a great fan of Scandinavian mystery, especially Martin Beck and Kurt Wallander series in Sweden. I have read them and watched the TV dramas.

I have visited USA, Russia, Poland, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea before.
My family had been a member of volunteer group, "host family association" for 20 years and had many guests from the world over.
We've had guests from:

Afghanistan
Australia
Bangladesh
Brazil
Canada
China
Denmark
Egypt
Finland
Germany
Greece
Iceland
India
Israel
Kenya
Kyrgyz Republic
Malaysia
The Netherlands
Palestine
Philippines
Poland
Saudi Arabia
Spain
Sudan
UK
USA
Zambia

So I am very interested in different cultures, people, ideas and so on. As the second language, English and Korean are the easiest for me but I can read your Spanish and German. I have been studying Korean by myself for more than 10 years.
I only know a few words of Russian but at least, I can read, write and pronounce Cyrillic characters so I can write your name and address in the alphabet.

Postcrossers who speak Chinese, I suppose it is better to show your address in not only English but also Chinese.
I can write your address in your Chinese characters, so can other Japanese .

Any post cards will be welcome! I am rather interested in what you write but just if possible,

-happy illustration and pictures of children, dogs, birds
-map
-bus, tram ,train, airplane ,ship, ferry
-bridge, airport, port
-your country view
-traditional costume
-local food
-related with your idea

Thank you so much for reading!
Have a nice day!
