Hello! My name is Urara, うらら（麗）.I was born and raised in City of Peace, Hiroshima. So I always, especially currently, hope that all the people in the world will live together in harmony and peace. I am single and live with my parents, younger sister and two lovely goldfish who can "talk" with us. I have been suffering from manic- depression(Bipolar Disorder) and obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) and not working for 19 years but fortunately my mood has been better, compared to before I joined Postcrossing. So I always thank all of the Postcrossers for sending me cards that make me smile and give me hope and energy to live!
(But these days my condition has been a bit lower and I have been homebound. So I could make wrong spellings and mistakes on a card more.)

I like reading, watching Korean and other country's mystery series, nice films, grocery shopping in local markets, taking local buses, watching baseball, Hiroshima Carp, and learning languages, although any of the tongues are far to be perfect.
I am a great fan of Scandinavian mystery, Martin Beck series in Sweden.

Luckily I have visited USA ,Poland, Canada (3 month stay in Vancouver), Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea, those trips have been quite a long time though.

Our house is very small but we had been a member of a volunteer group, "host family association" for 20 years and had many guests from the world and also helped foreign students life here.
