About Urara...

Hello! My name is Urara, うらら(麗).I was born and raised in
Hiroshima so I always hope that people in the world live together in harmony. I am single and live with my parents and a younger sister. I have been suffering from manic- depression(Bipolar Disorder) and obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) and not working for 16 years. So I always thank all of the Postcrossers for sending me cards that make me smile and give me hope and energy to live!

I like reading, watching Korean and other country's mystery series, walking and grocery shopping in local markets and others.
I have been a great fan of Scandinavian mystery, especially Martin Beck and Kurt Wallander series in Sweden.
I also enjoy watching baseball games on TV, am fan of our local professional team, Hiroshima Carp.

I have visited USA, Russia, Poland, Canada (3 month stay in Vancouver), Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea before.
My family had been a member of volunteer group, "host family association" for 20 years and had many guests from the world over.
We've had guests from:

Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Israel, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Malaysia, Netherlands, Palestine, Philippines, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sudan, UK, USA, Zambia

So I am very interested in different cultures, ideas and so on.
As the second language, English and Korean are the easiest for me but I suppose I can read your Spanish and German at least.
I keep learning the languages by myself little by little, also with trying reading and writing them by Postcrossing.

Postcrossers who speak Chinese, I suppose it is better to show your address in not only English but also Chinese.
Japanese can write your address in your Chinese characters.

Any post cards will be welcome.
I am not picky and I don't mind receiving the same card twice.
I am interested in what you write but just if possible,

-your local view and nature
-your traditional costume
-local food
-happy illustration and pictures of children, birds, flowers and others
-map
-bus, tram ,train, airplane ,ship, ferry
-bridge, airport, port

Thank you so much for reading my profile.
Stay safe and keep your good health during the pandemic.
November 2021

PS Because I have already had many friends thanks to Postcrossing and of my health, I don't do direct swap. But if you are interested in doing snail mail with me, please let me know and I will tell you if I can do or not.
