About Melanie...

Hello everyone
my name is Melanie. I´m a 29 years old Engineer from Germany.
I have a really curious personality and so I try out many hobbies. My favourite ones so far are cooking/baking, gaming, hiking, aikido, going out with friends, music ( I love listening to rock and heavy metal and I play the piano), music festivals, reading books and I love to travel. Also I recently discovered art and started trying painting and crotcheting. Languages are also exciting to learn. I learn Japanese and relearn French at the moment.

Every postcard you send is very welcome. If you want some kind of inspiration, here are some ideas of postcards I would love to get: (They are absolutely NOT demands!!)
♥ Chinese Zodiac Sign Tiger
♥ "Women in Sience" postcards by Rachel Ignotofsky - I received the Elisabet Blackburn card and I love it so much
♥ GF cards - I already have BY, BE, CA, FI, HK, IN,IE, JP, LT,MC, MO, MY, PL, RO, SE, US
♥ Gorjuss Santoro
♥ Videogames, mostly Legend of Zelda, Monster Hunter, Ookami, Bloodborne
♥ Alice in wonderland, Corpse Bride,... just anything Tim Burton movies related
♥ UNESCO world heritage
♥Halloween and Christmas card when it´s the season
♥ birthday cards in Febraury (or end of January)
♥ cute/beautiful illustrations (of animals, people, ladscapes, buildings, cities,...)
♥ recipe cards
♥ Fairytales or Mythology
♥ photos of traditional outfits or crafts
♥ cards showing special events in your city / region / country
♥ view cards

For me, the message on the cards is just as important. If you need a writing prompt, here are some ideas:
- something about the card
- your typical day
- your favourite hobby
- your favourite food
- your favourite book
- your favourite song or poem
- your favourite quote

Happy postcrossing :)
