About Xoddam...
Hello,
my name is Tina and I live in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany.
I love to send and receive postcards from all over the world, so I was glad when I discoverd postcrossing.
First of all: I love long messages, so I really enjoy fully written cards!
For me half of the delight of receiving a great postcard is to read about your life or your traditions or whatever you want to tell me. For example I would enjoy if you can write a little bit about yourself or your day ... Maybe you might like to tell me one of your dreams / wishes, thinks you want to do or something typical of your daily life. I am also very interested in how the fire brigade is organized in your city / country and if you have a volunteer fire brigade in your region.
In my free time I really like to read (I love all sorts of books) and to dance (mostly ballet). I also very much enjoy playing card or board games with friends. I love to motorcycle and to travel. I am also interested in different cultures and people, (neuro-)science and the fire brigade.
Here are some motifs I would like to receive (in random order).
- photos of people and faces (toddlers / kids, young and old, couples, different cultures)
- the fire brigade / firefighters / fire-related
- post-related (pictures of letters / postcards / stamps) and postboxes
- dance, especially ballet
- motorcycles, cars or trucks (especially Mercedes, Ford Mustang and MAN)
- something typical of your culture
- books
- special photographs of animals (especially of wildlife / animals living in the forest)
- mapcards (those cartoon-like map cards with local landmarks on it)
- food / fruits and sweets / chocolate
- tea / hot chocolate / coffee
- photos of some interesting / special details (close-up motifs)
- extraordinary / strange motifs
- (neuro)science / medicine
@ Postcrossers from the USA: I would love to receive postcards with the shape and the name of your US state on it!
In addition I would love if you can use some nice or special stamps for the postcard.
Thank you for reading my whole profile.
All the best & happy postcrossing!
