Hello at all,
my name is Christiana, I am 50 years old and I collect postcards. I was really happy I heard about Postcrossing because it combines two of my favourite things: postcards and people.
My other hobbies are reading (Ebooks), listening to music, photography, penfriends, the internet, cooking and baking, gardening.
I live in Hungen (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungen), a little city in the middle of Germany with about 13.000 people. It is 70 kilometers north from Frankfurt and 33 km from the extinct volcano Hoherodskopf
I like many different kinds of postcards, including:
- UNESCO cards
- Postcards from Postcrossing Meetings !!!
- Postcards from your hometown or country
- Funny postcards with cats
- Wild Poppies
- Cards from Alexey Dolotov
- The sea
- Winter landscape
- Flowering gardens
- Wooden Postcard
- Windows and doors
- Harry Potter
- Christmas Cards (Santa Claus)
- Fruits or vegetables
- Greetings from ......
- Inge Löök
- Sewing machine
- Old cameras
Other cards are also welcome. Please write something about you or about the place where you live.
I register postcards on the same day when they arrive.
I'm looking forward to receiving, your postcard!
Best wishes and Happy Postcrossing
What I have on your mind:
I don't understand why some Postcrossers don't set their accounts as INACTIVE if they don't wanna get any postcards anymore. That's frustrating when a postcard is sent to a user who doesn't go online over a month.
I wait and wait and I hope that the card is still registered.
And then after 60 days ... EXPIRED. I've sent postcards to Postcrosser who were not online for 2 months. That's not very nice.
