Hello fellow postcrossers,

My name is Karen. I am 34 years old and I live in Appingedam, a small town in the northern part of the Netherlands.

I love animals, I have 2 guinea-pigs, their names are Vera and Mia.
I also enjoy doing crafts, cooking and baking, researching my family tree, gardening (outside: growing flowers, pumpkins and gourds / indoor: epiphyllums,cacti and succulents), modern cross stitching, reading anything and everything, watching movies and comedy shows and thrifting for things that are beautifull, pre-owned and pre-loved. I have too many hobbies to keep up with really... 😊

My birthday is early april so a birthday card around that time would be nice. :)

I would also love to recieve holiday cards like Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc., at the appropriate time.

These are of course just preferences. If you can think of something that can make me happy and bring a smile on my face too, please do.

I hope you can write something about yourself or something in your own language with an english translation or maybe a local recipe or you could make a list of favourites (it's a easy way to learn alot about a person) and please put a date on the card.

Feel free to add spice up your cards with drawings and stickers.

I started to do postcrossing because I want the world to be a little less digital and it is always nice to recieve a handwritten card instead of just piles of bills in your and my letterbox.
