Whatchamacallit

So, a few things about me, myself and I...

Oh, and you don't have to read this all. "About the postcards" is the important part.

I'm 33 years old. I love animals and at the moment I have three dogs, one bunny, four cats and three giant African land snails. The snails are probably the least cool pets you can have, but at least I gave them cool names: Clarkson, Hammond and May. From Top Gear, of course! I spend a lot of my free time taking care of my pets. :)

I like to read. J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series and Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy are my favourites, and I also like Call of the Wild and Watership Down. And I really should read The Lord of the Rings, too, since I am big fan of the movies.

And I must mention that my favourite TV show is SHERLOCK! The British one, obviously, not the crappy American one. (Sorry ;D ) And so, of course, my favourite actor is Benedict Cumberbatch. There are many others too.

Got to mention manga and anime as my interests. Silver Fang, Wolf's Rain, Bleach, InuYasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, My neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle... You know, the usual.

Finland is, I think, famous (?) for it's forests and is known (again: ?) as the country of lakes (187 888 lakes).

I live on the countryside, which I love. I've travelled in Europe a little bit, but would love to travel more. I've been to London twice now with my friend and I absolutely loved it! Too bad they weren't filming Sherlock there at that time...

ABOUT THE POSTCARDS:

I'd like to receive cards with some nice scenery from your country/place, some animals that live there, or a tourist attraction, and tell me something about them. Or if you can send me a card of my favourite tv-show, books, or anime/manga characters, that'd be awesome!

If you have a good idea for a card, be my guest and send it. So the card can actually be pretty much about anything. I'm not a big fan of art cards, though. At least haven't been so far.

It'd be nice if you'd write a little something about your country/culture/customs or if you're from Japan; maybe teach me a few words of Japanese (a phrase perhaps).

You can also tell me your favourite quotes, movies, tv-shows, actors, books, cartoons... Or you can tell me about your pets, if you have some.

It would also be very interesting to know what things you know about Finland or about Finnish people! Good things, bad things... Whatever you've heard or experienced. x) You don't have to be polite. ;D

There are so many things you can write to me about. Just write something more than one or two sentences and have fun writing the card.

So, in a blunt summary, I say "Yes, please!" to:
- sceneries
- views of places of interest in your country/region
- wild animals from your country
- BBC Sherlock

- movies
- something different/unique!

I say "No, thank you." to:
- art cards
- ad cards
- "common" dog/cat cards, even though I do love the animals
