My Name is Lars and I was born in the German Democratic Republic, in the Year 1981, in Karl-Marx-Stadt (Karl-Marx-City), now Chemnitz. I work in a Nursing Home since 2004 as an Carer. I spend my Freetime with meeting Friends or at Home on the Couch. :) I have a 2008 born Cat, (Susi) with three Colors. You can see her on my Profile Picture. I support a few Organizations too, for example Animal Welfare Organizations. When I get Postcards from this Organizations, I send them out, over Postcrossing too. Iam Fan of German Soccerclub, Borussia Dortmund. In the End of November and in December, I send only Christmas-Cards. Write me about your Hobbies, Life, Job and so on. :) You can make me very lucky with:

(As I was a Child, I was in Holiday with my Mother. She bought me a Mapcard from Erz Mountains, a High Mountain Range in the near where I live. I watched every Evening on this Postcard and found every Day new Details. I still have the Postcard today.)

+++ HOME COMING POSTCARDS +++

Home Coming Postcards is an Project, created by me. It means that I send Postcards, from other Countries, back in her Homeland. Sure a few from these Postcards are meanwhile already long in Germany, other maybe not so long. I had the Idea for this, as I got a few Postcards from a Voluntary in the Nursing Home where I work, after I told him about my Hobby, Postcrossing. By these Postcards from him, there is a Postcard from Cuba too, especially from the Hotel "Colony" in Isla de Pinos. My wish is, to send her back to Home, back to Cuba, one Day. She is already older too and sure since the 80's here in Germany. I have a lot of Postcards too, from Italy, Switzlerland and Austria, which I would try to send back in her Countries. When anybody from these Countries is interested in one of the Postcards, no Problem, send a direct Message to me.

+++ Photos of Karl-Marx-Stadt +++

At the beginning of this year, I found a calendar from Chemnitz from 2020 with me at work. This calendar showed pictures of Chemnitz around 1980, when the German Democratic Republic still existed and Chemnitz was still called Karl-Marx-Stadt. I selected 5 pictures and had postcards printed from them. This series, which contains 5 postcards, is called "Photos of Karl-Marx-Stadt". If someone is interested, please contact me with a message. One or two cards from you in return are sufficient, to get this 5 Postcards.
