Hi there! We are a married couple with grown up children. Ian has recently retired whilst Bernadette is still busy working in a nursing home for the elderly. We have two beautiful little granddaughters, but we do hope for more !! :-)

We are keen spectator of most sport but especially Australian Rules (football), cricket and tennis. We are involved with our local suburban football club, where our boys played until they retired from sport.

We also enjoy bushwalking, though We don't do as much now as we used to. We have also become quite interested in photography, especially since the introduction of digital, as opposed to the the old film method.

We live in suburban Melbourne, on the shore of Port Phillip Bay, where we have lived for over 38 years. Our children grew up and were educated locally before leaving home. It is a quiet seaside locality, in the summer we can have evening meal on the beach and go swimming if so inclined ! Summer or winter, our small dog enjoys taking us for a walk along the beach sand, and perhaps she will go in for a swim in the summer when it is warm !

We will be happy to receive any postcards, but our favourites would be scenic views from your country, or views of your national sports, pastimes or activities, or cards of your wild life, animals, birds etc, so we can see some of the life in your country.

Please note that our "favourites" wall is just that - favourite cards we have viewed and really like to come back for a 2nd ( & 3rd & 4th ) view later. It is NOT a wish list, so feel free to send whatever you want - we appreciate the sending of the card just as much.

Oh! as for the avatar ? as our sons have grown up and left home we decided we needed a daughter - and here she is, 17 years old, and still chasing possums and cats !!!. Isn't she beautiful ?
