My name is Maureen. I am a recently turned 52 year old mom to three kids who keep me very busy. I have helped them with their postcrossing accounts for several years and have finally decided to have one of my own.
I love traveling and reading. Both of which I don't get to do as often as I'd like. Even more so with the pandemic. I love photography, both taking pictures and looking at others. I have an obsession for both chocolate and the New England Patriots (American football) team. Go Pats!
I'm happy to receive any and all postcards. Really I am. Whatever you'd like to send be assured I will like it. But having done this a few years with the kids I know that sometimes it's easier if there's a list of interests. In no particular order mine include...
-Lou Paper (love the bright whimsical design)
-places you like to walk
-anything to do with hiking
-country or regional maps
-'Greetings From' series from postalove
-National Parks series from Lantern Press Like these : http://www.lanternpress.com/catalog/view/612
-love or romance themed
-Christmas, Halloween, or your country's holiday themed cards at appropriate time of year
-mailboxes or post boxes
-cards with chocolate
-Postcrossing meetup cards but please circle or indicate somehow which name is yours. I love getting them but often don't know which signature I am receiving it from.
Recently, I changed my favorites to be postcards I would love to receive. Feel free to send me any of those if you have them.
I've seen these kind of requests on others' profile so decided to try my own this year. If you're sending me a postcard in the following months, please send me one in the corresponding theme. Any version of the theme...whatever you have that works. Thanks for playing along...
JULY...Red, White or Blue
I always like to see the date when you've written your postcard to me but also put the time of day when you write them. I am a nightowl so often it is very late at night when I write out my postcards. I think it'll be interesting to see when other write theirs.
Can't wait to get your postcard!
My Instagram is walkin_my_mass_off. Come check it out. This summer I am mailing my postcards from different mailboxes than I normally use. If I mailed your postcard after July 1st, check out my Instagram and you'll see where I mailed your postcard from.
***Please DO NOT put the ID# along the bottom of the postcard. The US Postal Service stamps along the bottom edge and it makes it really hard to read the numbers. I've had to have Postcrossing look up the ID for me. They've been really great and able to send me the ID each time I've asked for help but it just delays the time with which I can register your card. Thanks!***
