About Galiya...

Hello there!

I'm temporarily not in the project, unfortunately, but my son is)

My name is Galiya (it's а Tatar name derived from Arabic, the stress is on the last syllable) and I live in Kazan, Russia.

Well, I'm Tatar by nationality and Muslim by my religious beliefs (did you know that except Russians there are about 100 other native peoples living in the territory of Russia).

I want to share the happiness of recieving postcards with my dear ones, so please - NO cruel or erotic scenes in your cards! And, please, let them be new and fresh:)

The postcards to make me happy for sure:
- Mosques and Islam!
- Doors/windows
- P a i n t e d cats
- Garfield, Moomin, Krtek, Peanuts
- Teapots and cups
- Lavender
- Mittens
- Fantasy, medieval (NO LOTR and NO Harry Potter here, please:))
- Photos of trains
- Nice handmade cards
- Puzzle cards, cards from wood or metal and other interesting ones

Well, send me something positive and beautiful to your choice:)

I like postcards to be written and stamped (even the handmade ones). If possible write me a few lines in your native language (with a translation for the languages I don't know, of course:)). You can also write whether you've heard of Tatars before:) I'd be really glad if you draw something or paste stickers on the back side of the card, I love them decorated))

Thank you in advance for your time and effort!

PS: All of my recieved postcards sorted by country:
My collections:
PPS: Dear Finnish postcrossers, if by any chance you have one of the stamps with HIM or Apocalyptica, please, do stick them on my card))))

My favourites are just the postcards I liked, including the ones I've already recieved:) Better use them as a hint, not as a direct wishlist:)

Отдельное напоминание моим русскоязычным гостям - я не Галина и не Галя, меня зовут Галия, а то очень часто путают! Благодарю за понимание.
