I have been absent from the site for quite a long time. But I want to return to the magic of postcrossing to distract myself from those difficult and bad thoughts.

Hello! My name is Valerii. My homeland is Ukraine.
But I have been living in Latvia for almost ten years.
I love to travel. I love active trips the most: hiking, trekking, bike rides, rafting. Unfortunately, now there are far fewer trips in my life than before. In Latvia, I fell in love with orienteering. (If you are involved in orienteering, I would be very happy to receive an orienteering map from you. (With any competitions in your country.))
I like to spend time outside the city. I really love the forest, and believe me, I go there very often! And I also really like to pick mushrooms.
I like to read, without giving preference to any one genre - this includes modern fiction and non-fiction, autobiographies, science fiction, fantasy. I am also interested in graphic novels and "bandes dessinees" (Franco-Belgian comics). Among my interests are numismatics, bonistics, philately (I am interested in stamps - Europa CEPT, Sepac, Norden, Euromed, America-UPAEP and Joint stamp issues. I would also be happy to receive the first day cover from you.), heraldry, Olympic history.
I will be happy to receive any card from you, but I will especially be happy with thematic ones related to my many hobbies.
