Hello :)

I'm living in Nieuwegein, which I describe to people who've never been there as 'a very practical, well-arranged city with a few hidden gems of beauty'. The ancient Romans made this riverlands area a border of their empire - if you go looking, you'll find lots of traces still. I love history, summer rain, reading everything I can get my hands on, playing board games, cycling...

...and sending and receiving postcards, obviously. I love reading about your everyday life things, or things about your village, city, area or country that you think are interesting.

As for what cards I'd like to receive: I think it's wonderful you're sending a postcard, so send any you want! If you've already thought of a card for me, go ahead n send it :)

-vintage Volkswagen Beetle cars
-single standing trees
-birds
-(photographs of) hands
-people with tattoos, piercings, scarifications; body art
-art: I love the works of Munch, Kandinsky, Mark Ryden, or pretty much anything in their style. Through Postcrossing, I was made aware of illustrators Nokeek/Lena Gnedkova (Russia) and Joutomaa (Finland). A card with their art would make my day. Or you could send a card of any artist of your country you think I should know about.

I don't collect stamps, but I do always check them out, and appreciate the beautiful and the odd.
