Hi to new friends from all over the world :-)

I'm Allie (Alison) from Australia.

I am 42 years old and i am a mum of two (4) beautiful children.

I am married to a wonderful man and I live near the Southern Great Barrier Reef in Central Queensland.

My very 1st postcard was bought for me by an Arab man in Singapore whilst traveling with my family to the United Kingdom at Christmas time when I was 8 years old in 1984. I have been collecting postcards ever since from anywhere and everywhere. If someone was going overseas all i would request was to receive a postcard, so when a friend suggested this site I got so excited to find i can also learn things about where the postcards come from and make new friends!!

In fact I have made some lovely friends who have become a constant contact on Facebook :)

I am bubbly and outgoing.

I love butterflies, giraffes and orangutans.

I love anything Scotland.

I love vintage and antique things, which why I collect Singer sewing machine tables.

My favourite colours are pink, purple, green and Aqua.

My hobbies include curling up with a great book or coloring in.

I would like to get to know people still living other countries and learn about their lifestyles and traditions.

Tell me a bit about yourself, your favourite hobbies, food, music. If you find that a postcard is not enough then I am happy to receive letters as well :)

I have done a bit of travelling but would love to do some more, a round the world trip would be a dream come true, but until then receiving cards from around the world would be great!! Please date your card so i can see how long it takes to travel to me :)

If you would like to write something in your language if english is a 2nd language to you please be my guest but a translation would be great :)
