About Vickie...
Hello Postcrossers!
My name is Vickie. I am a registered nurse, financial counselor, wife, and the mother of three wonderful young men, aged 25, 23, and 20. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and met my husband there while we were both in nursing school. Since then we have been very fortunate to have lived in many different locations around the world due to my husband's job: San Diego, California; Sasebo, Japan; Kenosha, Wisconsin; Sigonella, Sicily; Jacksonville, North Carolina; the US Territory of Guam; a wonderful return tour of Sasebo, Japan; Newport, RI; and back to the beautiful island of Guam! We have very recently moved back to the contiguous USA (or CONUS, as the military likes to put it) to Twentynine Palms, California.
Our family loves to geocache (check out www.geocaching.com to learn more!). It is a fabulous way to explore, even in areas you know well!
Our family loves anime, manga and quirky Asian art. But of course I am happy to receive any type of postcard that tells me something special about where you live.
