Hi,
my name is Veronika and I'm from Slovakia - a small but beautiful country in central Europe. I have one dog called Mulan and two cats called Neffy and Tuffy. I love all of them to the moon and back.

My deep love for dogs led me to Košice, where I studied kynology. After I gained my bachelor's degree, I decided to continue in Prague, Czechia, where I currently study animal welfare. During my studies in Košice, I tried to raise awareness about the seriousness of separation anxiety of dogs. Currently, I'm on a mission to improve welfare of pigs by studying the effect of temporary crating on maternal behaviour of sows and mortality of their piglets.

I dream of having my own place, where I could live with my future dog, cat, goat, minipig and a llama. There I would train these animals with positive reinforcement and I would use all my knowledge to make their lives as good as possible.

I would love and appreciate a postcard which depicts your national breed of dog/cat/goat/pig/sheep/cow etc. As you can see, I will love anything connected to animals. But you can also share with me your favourite place in your country or a place that you recommend to me. I also really love cooking and baking. I'm a vegetarian, so if you know a tasty veggie recipe that is either traditional in your country or you just simply cannot imagine life without that food, please, do share it with me :).
