Howdy from the Lone Star State!

My name is Rebecca. I live in Hurst, Texas - it is located in between the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.

I have been a member and supporter of Postcrossing and it has been great fun.

I am a working mother with five kids. Four of the five are grown and the youngest is just about ready to head off to be a Freshman at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas...as a friendly greeting at that campus they all like to say, "Guns Up!"... cracks me up every time I hear it.

The only one remaining at home with me now is a 16-year old, rescued female shaded silver Persian cat, Mollie (And yes, she has her own Postcrossing site as well and is much more popular than myself). She may be old and deaf, but it is my privilege to be her 'person'.

I am originally from Virginia and feel as though Texas is my adopted home as I have lived here for over 11 years. Texas proudly tells everyone that "Everything is Bigger in Texas", I have to agree with them on that point. It is truly is an awesome place to live and visit. Everyone is very friendly here, so please come for a visit, enjoy the food and beautiful and varied landscapes.

I have been completely amazed by the thoughtfulness in each of the postcards received. This has been an incredible experience and I am very grateful.

All of the postcards I receive go into a large basket in my home where my friends get to enjoy them as well. Feel free to select any card you think I will enjoy reading, but most importantly, ALL postcards are truly welcome at my home!
