About Ulrike...

Hello,

my name is Ulrike, I´m 54 years old ( the photo was taken in 1977...) and I live in Stockelsdorf, a nice, small community that is situated on the outskirts of Lübeck.. I am married and I have two grown up sons.

The Hanseatic City of Lübeck is located in the north of Germany in the state of Schleswig-Holstein on the Baltic coast. It is famous for its marzipan industry and its old town (UNESCO World Heritage because of its Brick Gothic architectural heritage). Hamburg is only about 60 km away and the North Sea and Denmark are also not far away.
It`s very nice to live here, in addition to the interesting cities we have many beautiful beaches in the Bay of Lübeck and everywhere in Schleswig-Holstein there is a wonderful nature.

I would be very happy to get funny or cheerful cards! You could also take a quick look at my “Favourites” to get an idea, thank you! Furthermore for example, I would also love cards with jolly baby or child motives. But the card selection should please be no stress for you - I will be glad about every card that reaches me !
I would be very happy, if you write me a life motto or a clever or funny saying, which means something to you.
But you can also write something about yourself, your home, your city, your life - I'm happy about every message!

I read a lot of books and like to see reports and documentaries about other countries on television. I think, it's great and exciting to be able to have direct contact to people from other countries and cultures by the idea of postcrossing!
Moreover I've always loved postcards! Sometimes I buy funny or pretty cards to hang them up on magnetic walls or in frames in our house. Also, I always like to get and send "real post".

Therefore I am looking forward to your cards and messages!

Best regards and thanks in advance!
