About TwoCousins...

Hello everyone,

My name is Rosi and I'm 40 years old. This is the Postcrossing profile of my cousin Franziska who got 20 at the beginning of the year. You can see both of us on the photo.

Franziska is recognized 100 % disabled. She finished a special school for disabled children / teenagers last summer and works in a workshop for the handicapped now. Besides some easy work like packaging sweets for a company, etc. she also learns about politics and daily life. She likes her job and even more because her best friend from school works there as well. Franziska doesn't seem like a 19-year-old, more like a normal child of 12 or 13. Please consider this when writing her card and please don't mention her disability.

Franziska doesn't like to write cards (when I proposed to her to write one she put on a charming face and told me "You write so much better than I do.") but she loves to receive them. She doesn't speak any English and doesn't have the internet so I choose and write cards for this account. Your cards for her are sent to my address. I register them the day they arrive and I keep them in a pink box for her. Whenever we meet up, she loves to discover her new cards and look at the cards she had received before.

I only check her e-mail address when we have a card registered so if you need to contact me, please be so kind to use my own profile:

Franziska and I don't meet up very often because we live 1 hour in car away from each other but we talk on the phone at least once a week and went on holiday together this June (photo). When we meet up, we always do something fun: bowling and lunch in a restaurant, take away pizza and cinema or I cook at home and we play her favourite card game "Phase 10". I'm a vegetarian and strangely she only eats veggie food when she is with me, even in restaurants. She uses to tell me that she likes that I try new dishes, she thinks her parents are boring because they always cook the same thing.

If you happen to send your card in an envelope and to have a vegetarian recipe for a typical snack, main dish, dessert or cake at hand (cut out of a magazine, a photocopy, etc.) in one of the above mentioned languages I can cook it for her and we can travel the cuisines of the world this way. And if you happen to have a tiger stamp you can put on the envelope or a used tiger stamp you can slip into the envelope for my personal collection that would make my day.

Here are some ideas for cards that she likes:

- Anything about Violeta
- Anything about the Twilight saga
- Handmade cards
- Colourful wild flowers
- Horses, cute animals (but no monkeys, spiders or snakes, please)
- Snoopy
- Food, cakes, sweets, recipes
- Diddl
- sunrises, sunsets, the beach
- The Brandenburg Gate and the Eiffel Tower
- Princesses
- Anything girly, pink and glittery

Franziska is a loving, caring and funny child and always very thankful for the effort you put into choosing and writing a card for her
