About TwinMom...

Hi. I am a 39 year old mom. I live in the mountains of North Carolina with my 14 year old twins & a very spoiled cat.
I really like all postcards. I am not picky over what type you send. I will love anything you send! I like the stamps and reading the message on the postcard. I would also enjoy learning about the culture & traditions of where you live. I would like postcards with views of building or houses from your country. Nature or animal postcards from your part of the world would be nice to receive. Anything would be greatly enjoyed! I enjoy recipe cards, map cards and 'Did You Know?' cards.
If you want to write a few words in your native language with a translation in English, that would be awesome. Also, I am currently reading a Russian folktales book with my twins. So, postcards with pictures of fairy tales or folktales would be great.
I cannot afford to travel around the world, so I am hoping to learn lots about interesting people, places, traditions, folklore, food, different cultures... Things I otherwise would never see or learn.

Thank you! Whatever you send will make me so happy! :)

*I would like Halloween and Christmas postcards.
*I love postcards of mushrooms :)
*A fox is my favorite animal, a fox postcard would be great.
*I like "Did you know?" postcards. I would love to get more of these!
***I would like postcards of cemeteries! I enjoy genealogy, so these would interest me very much.***

I enjoy everything about postcards. I like the pictures, the stamps and the message. I can't wait to read what you have written to me.
If you are unsure what to write:
*I would most like to learn about the area you are from or what is on the postcard. A traditional recipe from your country, A folktale or fairy tale, anything that you feel like telling me about...

I do prefer my postcards stamped and written on, but if there is something else along with the postcard that you would like to send me, then, I will be happy with the postcard being in an envelope. I have received such nice surprises in the mail from wonderful people. And my twins and I have been able to learn some interesting things from newspapers, advertisements and things. It's been cool to see things that are from another country and in foreign languages. This has really brought out a passion in my son to want to travel when he gets older. Thank you to everyone for helping me and my twins learn more about your area. The postcards are an awesome treat when we open the mailbox.
