Greetings! I am an outdoor enthusiast, avid reader, political observer, animal lover, etc., etc. I recently retired after a career in managing America's national parks. Now that I no longer work you can usually find me running in a road race (5ks to marathons) , hiking a trail, attending an athletic event (baseball, hockey, others) or doing something with my dog (a ten-year old vizsla).

I am experimenting with Postcrossing for now, in hopes of having fun, learning a few things, and making the world just a little bit smaller.
