About Denise...

I have identical twin daughters who are both married and are teachers. They are both very musical. I have a five year old granddaughter, a twenty two month old grandson and an eleven month old granddaughter. I am 62 years old and retired. I love reading, classical music, art, collecting mint stamps, especially commemorative ones and chatting!

Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands. We are just a Crown Dependency of the UK and so have our own Government. We have our own flag too and not the Union Jack. We are not part of the EU so have our own currency.

I love old buildings, ornate architecture, waterfalls, bridges, flowers, beautiful scenery, anything to do with Harry Potter (I have most but not all of the Lego Mini Figures) and anything to do with space travel. We do have 3 Postcrossing stamps and matching cards. Two of those stamps and cards were produced to celebrate 11 years of Postcrossing on 11 July 2016.

Could you please if possible put the date you sent the card as I like to know how long it takes to get to me.

"I would appreciate a few words about yourself or the wonderful country you live in and not just the postcrossing reference and my contact details as the cards I love, but knowing about the people and countries from around the world I love more" I cannot travel the world as I am disabled.

I have sent over 800 swaps and enclosed stamps and coins and magnets when I notice people collect them even though not asked to so please consider my feelings before making comments about my writing in your feedback. I have a rare genetic illness which affects my motor skills and sight and I can only print large letters with the aid of special equipment.

If your card has not been registered after 40 days then it has probably got lost in the post so do contact me with reference details and I will be happy to register it so you can send another rather than wait 60 days.

P.S No untasteful cards please I will register but comments will be lacking! I am 62!!! I also will not send them so don't ask either!!
Also NO folded notelets as I joined to get Postcards! No Ad cards or home made ones either.

A la Perchoine-Goodbye or Until we meet again, in Guernsey Patois.
