I'm a German born South African, married to a South African born German. I'm a bookworm and a Trail running fanatic, running out on the trails every weekend. My instagram account is basically filled with the places I run. It is an absolute passion of mine.

I live in Pretoria, South Africa and am very lucky that I have so many wonderful and beautiful places to run and walk within 15 minutes of our house. South Africa has the most amazing nature parks and reserves very close to the cities. Nature is such an important part of our lives.

When Martin and I travel overseas, I send a postcard from where we are so that when we get home, there is a reminder of where we've just come from. It's always of a scene that reminds us of our holiday.

Please send me something unusual or totally touristy! The everyday thing that you want to share, that special place you would insist I go see with you if I came to visit. I've traveled to many places in the world but there is so much I'd love to see still. And I really love postcards with art of the Masters - Monet, Da Vinci, Picasso. I also love anything to do with animals, nature and natural wonders around the world. Except snakes and reptiles.... Please don't make me cringe, I have a phobia there....

But please, no advert cards... I just don't like those...
