Greetings!
I have been married to my first wife for 57 years.
We have four grown children (2 boys, 2 girls) and five grandsons.
BULLETIN: In September2023 our first granddaughter arrived!
Our home on about five acres is in a small rural community called Eagle Creek, Oregon, 25 miles (40KM) SE of Portland.
The biggest claim to fame for our community is the historic Philip Foster farm, where travelers of the Oregon Trail paused to celebrate their long journey before heading to their new land claims.
While officially retired, I have a small nursery business selling tomato and pepper plants each spring. I do not do all the varieties there are, only grew about 350 tomato varieties and 150 pepper varieties last year.
My niece introduced me to Postcrossing. She refers to me as her 'Unc.", short for Uncle, thus my username "tomatounc".
