Tokyo-Kitsune

My name is Emelie, I am 26 years old and study to become a radiographer.

I used to study Japanese in Tokyo in 2012–2013 and Japan is still a big part of my life. I love almost everything that has do with Japan. Especially all amazing stationery, gotochi cards, washi tape, cute characters etc. Love the Japanese spring with all the sakura and hanami festivals. The food is so delicious. I don’t read manga or watch a lot of anime, but I love movies from Studio Ghibli. I think ukiyou-e is really beautiful.

• I studied design for one year at the university actually. I really like cute pattern design like Marimekko and the work of Yayoi Kusama. Love Rifle paper styled postcards. Really neat, simple but cute design. I like typography too.

• Animals, especially cats, unicorns and narwhals. I would love to own a ragdoll, but I can’t afford it. I really like Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. Jetoy postcards are so cute.

• Interesting photographs or illustrations of people, like roller girls, figure skaters, mermaids, people with tattoos etc.

• Right now, I am really into STAR WARS, Twin Peaks and Downton Abbey. I really like galaxy postcards.

• View cards and maps from where you live. Please tell me your favorite spots.
