About Tipsu_...

Hi! Hei!

My name is Tarja and I'm from Finland; the country of Santa Claus and thousands lakes. There are 188 000 lakes, 98 000 islands and 2 200 000 saunas in Finland. In 2014 Finland´s population was around 5,5 million. Over 18 000 postcrossing members. The capital of Finland is Helsinki. Famous Finnish: Santa Claus :D Tove Jansson, writer ( the Moomins have been translated into 44 languages). Jari Litmanen (football player), Janne Ahonen (ski jumper), Teemu Selänne (ice hockey player), Kimi Räikkönen (formula driver), Ville Valo (vocalist in rock band HIM).

It would be nice if you tell me something about your country or yourself. I'm interested of knowing about different cultures. You could also teach me some words of your language!

I love to receive cards from all over the world. I really appreciate any card you send me. If you don´t have any inspiration here are some things I like.
- dogs
- nature
- landscapes
- flowers
- Johnny Depp
- Elvis Presley
- John Wayne
- Clint Eastwood
- Kim Casali; Love is...
In your own language
- Christmas and New year cards in December
- birthday cards in July
- Easter cards in Easter time
- Halloween cards when it´s time for them

If you want, you can send me a card which tells something about your country, too. I'll like every card you choose because the long distance that it has travelled is the best gift. And I don't care if the postcard is in envelope or not :)

Please, write the date and temperature in the postcard. Thnx! Kiitos !

If you have no wishes or favorites or say "every card is fine" then I just put my hand into the cardbox and pick one randomly. And I know; This is great.

No text in the your profil -> no text on my card !

Happy postcrossing! I'm looking forward the postcard you'll send me!
