About Mirta...

Hello! I'am Mirta
I live in Argentina, a country in South America, in San Miguel Arcángel, a town near Buenos Aires. Our main language is Spanish.
I worked as a primary school teacher and also in Kindergarten for many years, enjoying that activity. I am currently retired. Now I have more time to devise new projects, take care of my little garden planting dahlias, geraniums, malvones, bougainvillea, jasmine... I can learn, online and stimulated by Postcrossing, about countries and customs, researching my hobby which is collecting stamps, coins and postcards. I like to listen to all kinds of music. I love the golden songs of the 50'60's.
I have two married children, a granddaughter named Martina born on November 10, 2011 and eleven great-nephews who live in different cities in Argentina and two of them live in Spain. In December 2019 the family has grown with the blessing of the arrival of my new granddaughter: Catalina.
I love dogs, especially mini schnauzers; the song of the birds near my window in spring and the colors of nature in autumn.
I like series and movies that explore the psychological, but my favorite themes are detective cases with difficult puzzles to solve.

Postcard themes, I like very much:
all close-up images, especially of animals,
the cartoons,
nature,
the children,
culture,
customs,
the humor,
headlights,
pictorial art,
I am interested in knowing about your customs, your way of life... Knowing what you like is welcome. It will help me get to know you, and your country... and it will bring me closer, with my imagination, to experiences different from mine.
I will be delighted to receive any postcard, also those that you have made. Don't hesitate to surprise me!
A message and, if possible, nice stamps.
Every postcard I get is my favorite. Your dedication and the time you gave me are valuable.
Thanks in advance.
Happy postcrossing!
Mirta
