Hello,

My name is Tamarah.

I live with my guinea pig 'Pluisje' (Fluff) in an old house above a shop, in a small town on the river IJssel in The Netherlands. I work as a marketing coordinator and I'm also still a student at university where I study cultural history (a combination of history, art history, philosophy and literature).

In my spare time I love drawing, reading, visiting museums, going on city trips, genealogy and paleography, cooking and going out to restaurants. I also volunteer at the local religious museum in my town and I do research in our local archives. I am always looking for interesting stories in the archives and my first article was published in a local history book this year (2022). One day I hope to write and publish my own historical book! I am currently researching the life of a local 17th century family, it was amazing to hold and read letters writting by their 15 year old daughter. I love personal history like that!

I love all the cards that I receive, but if you can find any postcards related to the subjects below that would be amazing!

- Classic/Vintage Children's Books like Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, Le Petit Prince, Peter Rabbit or figures from local children's books from you country
- Local art, culture or history from your town or region
- Local folklore or fairytales from you town/region/country
- Anything to do with religion, like churches, temples, saints, etc.
- A card that is related to your hobby or work or a favourite building or area of yours - and please tell my why that is your hobby or favourite!
